Client

Anti-Slavery Australia are the only specialist legal practice, research and policy centre committed to the abolition of modern slavery in Australia. They are based at the Faculty of Law at the University of Technology Sydney.

Project Summary

Nation wide there are numerous organisations working to abolish modern slavery in Australia, support those effected and provide training and awareness on the topic. So many so that their awareness of each other is limited.

Anti-Slavery Australia saw the opportunity and enormous benefit in bringing together these organisations to form a community of practice. Doing so to provide support to one another, learn from experiences and share resources to name a few areas of need.

UX research was undertaken with stakeholders from non-profits, government organisations and experts in the field to establish the requirements for a suitable platform and understand user’s conversational and interation desires within this space.

Project outcome

Recommendation of a shortlist of suitable platforms, eventuating in assistance securing the final platform with the client along with comprehensive documentation of user informed areas for discussion, community guidelines.
